CODEB4A is a professional organization composed of academic leaders, faculty members, and practitioners in the field of Business and Allied Courses. It promotes academic excellence, collaboration, and innovation among Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Region IV-A, and is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).

Membership is open to deans of business and allied programs, program chairs or coordinators, and faculty members teaching in the fields of business, accountancy, management, marketing, finance, economics, and other related disciplines. It also welcomes academic researchers and industry practitioners who are affiliated with higher education institutions (HEIs) in Region IV-A.

By 2030, CODEB4A envisions itself as a globally-recognized and leading professional organization in Business and Management Education, and other related fields.

The CODEB4A is an organization of business educators with thge main thrust of fostering resilient and inclusive business education through quality instruction, research, and community extension whilst establishing strong linkages with local and international stakeholders.

CODEB4A Strengthens Global Academic Ties Through Educational Mission in Vietnam

CODEB4A successfully conducted an 𝓔𝓭𝓾𝓬𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵 𝓜𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷 in Vietnam from October 11–15, 2025, visiting Dong Nai Technology University and Saigon Business School. The mission fostered academic linkages and international collaboration. Members and directors also participated in the International Research Conference at Dong Nai Technology University spearheaded by the Philippine Association of Collegiate Schools of Business (PACSB).

Happenings at the CODEB4A General Assembly 2025

The CODEB4A General Assembly 2025 gathered Deans and Educators from business and related programs across Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon on September 16, 2025, at STI College Calamba. The event opened with important CHED updates, providing participants with the latest directions and policies in higher education. This was followed by the formal introduction of CODEB4A, highlighting the organization’s objectives and its role in uniting institutions across the region.

Engaging discussions focused on faculty and student development, with particular emphasis on strengthening academic programs to meet evolving industry demands. Participants also explored institution-based micro-credentials in higher education, showcasing innovative ways to equip students with specialized skills.

A key highlight was the session on social entrepreneurship, emphasizing its transformative role in creating sustainable change within communities and higher education. Beyond the sessions, the assembly served as a platform for network-building, encouraging collaboration and partnerships among institutions and educators dedicated to advancing quality business education in Region IV-A.

The Council of Deans and Educators of Business in Region IV-A (CODEB4A) kicked off its 20th annual conference recently at Hotel Dominique, City of Tagaytay, with the theme "Sustainably Enriching Business Education: Fostering Social Responsibility." The two-day conference brought together esteemed educators, business leaders, and experts to share insights and best practices in integrating social responsibility into business education.
