CODEB 4A Holds Induction of Officers, Turnover Ceremony, and Strategic Planning

San Pablo City, Laguna – The Council of Deans and Educators of Business in Region 4A (CODEB 4A) successfully held its Induction of Officers, Turnover Ceremony, and Strategic Planning last June 11–12, 2025 at Amihan Hotel, San Pablo City, Laguna.
The Induction Ceremony was graced by Honorable Sol Aragones, Governor of Laguna, who served as the Inducting Officer. In her inspirational message, Governor Aragones commended the Council’s commitment to elevating the standards of business education in the region and encouraged the officers to lead with passion, integrity, and innovation.
The newly inducted officers are as follows:

Vice-President for Batangas – Dr. Irene R. De Villa, University of Batangas Lipa City
Vice-President for Rizal – Dr. Venus G. Agustin, International Peace Leadership College

Immediately after the induction, the Turnover Ceremony commenced. Dr. Rogel Limpiada, Immediate Past President, officially handed over the leadership to Dr. Maricris G. Unico, symbolizing the Council’s continuing commitment to service and the enhancement of the business education system.
In her acceptance speech, Dr. Unico expressed heartfelt gratitude for the trust bestowed upon her and vowed to uphold the Council’s mission of fostering collaboration, professional growth, and excellence among business educators in Region 4A.
The following day, June 12, 2025, was dedicated to Strategic Planning. The Council drafted plans and a calendar of activities for School Year 2025–2026, focusing on strengthening academic linkages, enhancing professional development, fostering research collaborations, and deepening community engagement.
The two-day activity concluded with optimism and a shared vision for more productive and meaningful engagements—all in the name of service and love for the Council, its members, and stakeholders.
